2. Best cafe designs

Best Cafe Designs is a publication that includes an architectural directory and cafes.

This is your global guide to the best cafes in the world, designed for architects, designers and travellers who love a good cup of coffee.

Andrew, the founder of Best Cafe Designs, started it by taking photos of cafes in Sydney CBD during his coffee breaks while working as an architect. The initiative expanded into a collaboration of 30+ international architects, designers and photographers featuring cafe designs all over the globe.

Penelope Barker is a respected architect and designer who was a former editor of Vogue Living, Belle, and Indesign.

3. The Archi Torture

The architecture blog is an architecture website that helps and motivates architects. Our content is simple to read yet informative. It’s straight to the point and honest.

4. Aimie archi

I am currently a Level 6 architectural apprentice with two years of experience in the field. I created my social media pages during the COVID Lockdown to network with other apprentices and spread awareness about the architectural apprenticeship programs. I talk to other architects on Instagram Lives, post’ day in life’ videos, and share Clubhouse Rooms about my experiences as an architectural apprentice. It is my goal to provide the same resources that I needed when I started my career.

6. Archi English teacher

ArchiEnglish’s mission is to provide high-quality English coaching and lessons to Architects and Landscape Architects. This is strongly based on empathy, cultural understanding, and respect for the profession.

Tara Cull offers coaching and resources to professionals and students who want to increase their confidence in using language for their careers. She achieves this with her podcast Think Big – English for Architects and Instagram account, as well as 1:1 and group coaching, self-paced courses and other resources that will be available in 2022.

Tara uses her experience as a landscape designer, working with architects and working with built design professionals from different cultures, to create coaching programs and materials that help her clients become more confident and reassured about their language use.

ArchiDabble aims to give current and future architecture students a transparent and authentic perspective on their experiences in architectural education. This stereotype is based on sleepless nights spent working on models and a desire to achieve a perfect design. However, this only encourages students’ bad habits. We aim to dispel these stereotypes by sharing the tips, tutorials and experiences that we have acquired since our beginnings.

Archistudentnotes was created for architecture students or those who may join the community in the future. It provides notes, resources and guidance to make this challenging profession a little easier. Created by an Architecture Graduate, Part 2 Assistant and University Studio tutor sharing their experiences and knowledge gained from learning, teaching, and working in the Architecture Community over the past 8 years. We are a blog that is friendly and accessible and run by real people with a passion for architecture.

12. Archi tea

ArchiTea, an Instagram blog started by Arch. Omar Aljandali, in early 2020, presents architectural entertainment and education. This page is full of diverse content, from animated stories and site visits to tutorials and videos based on followers!

Omar recently published an online course called ‘Architectural Presentation Skills,’ in which he teaches architecture students and architects how to present an outstanding jury presentation.

13. Arch three

Arch Three was created after a lack of resources online to assist RIBA Part 3 Students. This blog is a place to discuss everything related to Part 3, including how you can work in practice or improve your portfolio. We will continue to provide information that is easy to read and quick to digest to assist all students in their architectural careers. We’re always happy to chat about anything and everything in our DMs.
